Greg Langowski, executive director of the Republican Party of Palm Beach County, has been tapped by U.S. Senator Marco Rubio to join his legislative team as the Southeast Regional Director.
Langowski, who served the county party for six years, will begin his new job on October 12. He will be serving five counties: Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee.
“It’s a big deal that Greg will be on the staff of a U.S. Senator and not just any senator, but one who people see as going further than that,” said Sid Dinerstein, chairman of the Republican Party of Palm Beach County. “We’ve had a great working relationship. He will be missed, but it’s a great opportunity for him.”
Langowski said he will be doing many of the same things he did locally in handling “general constituent services” only now it will be geared toward national issues like Medicare, Medicaid and immigration.
“I look forward to serving Marco Rubio and the citizens of Florida,” Langowski said. “Participating in government is something that’s always been exciting to me and this is the next step in reaching people and helping people and I’m looking forward to that. Marco Rubio is a rising star in our party and it’s very exciting to be working for such a great American and a great leader.”
